Purpose
The clamps guarantee simple and reliable installation and also ensure maximum safety when the spur is connected to the main cable without disconnecting the voltage. These clamps are suitable for aluminum and copper, multi-conductor and monolithic conductors, as well as for cables with PVC and XLPE insulation. The clamps can be installed in Raychem thermoshrinking branch couplings and small pour-in couplings.
Material:
Housing: robust aluminum alloy;
Contact segments: electrolytically alloyed bronze;
Insulating parts: glass-fiber reinforced polymer; screws: galvanized steel 12.9.
For 3 ½ and 4 core cables;
The contact segments have an integrated depth of cut limiter;
Openings for branch cable are grooved;
No special torque wrench is required for installation;
Exceeds the requirements of VDE 0220.
