The internal type end sleeve is designed for 6 and 10 kV three-conductor cables with oil-paper tape insulation (MI, MIND) and common aluminum or lead sheath.
Ex: AABU, ACBU.
End sleeve design
Oil-resistant Thermo shrink tubing is planted on the paper-insulated cable cores. The root of the cable shall be filled with yellow oil-resistant mastic and sealed with a conductive glove with an adhesive coating on the inner surface. This glove shall be mounted on the end of the cores and the metallic sheath. Yellow electric field control mastic shall be wrapped around the fingertips of the glove and red trekking-resistant tubing shall be planted on the veins. An additional sealing tube seals the back of the sleeve, whether a tip is used or a monolithic conductor is retained. The rear coupling shall include a non-solderable earth fitting. The kits with modification code -L12 shall include bolted lugs with a bore diameter suitable for M12 bolts and -L16 for M16 bolts.

* To order a rear coupling with bolt lugs for M16 bolts, use -L16 instead of modification code -L12.
Note: One set of couplings includes materials for 3 phases. Only sealed cable lugs can be used. The lengths of the cores can be reduced at the installation site according to local requirements, with a minimum length of 450 mm.
